Common question: “What would you do if… you could not fail?”
Seth Godin challenges that question … “What would you do if… you knew you would fail?” “What would be worth doing even though it’s not going to work?”

When I decided I wanted to work in the NBA, it wasn’t that failure wasn’t an option. It was that failure was the likely option. And fail I did. I had team after team tell me No. And more than that, I had team after team not respond at all.
But I continued to fail because I knew that’s what I wanted to do, even if it didn’t work out, even if I didn’t make it. I was going to give it the best chance I could.

A lot of people who reach out who want to work in the NBA want a roadmap. If I do X, Y, and Z then I will get to work in the NBA. But there isn’t a specific roadmap. Everyone’s journey to the NBA is different. And that is why it’s important for you to embrace and enjoy YOUR journey.
If you knew you would fail… would you still do it?
