Applying for NBA internships

In my last article, I wrote about When (and How) Should I Start Applying for Internships?

Typically, when I write this kind of article, I receive about 95% thank you’s, that’s helpful, etc.

And the other 5% is… I’ve already done that.

The I’ve already done that crowd typically comes across with a sense of entitlement.  I have applied here, here, and here and I have taken courses online, I have worked for my college and therefore I should have a job in the NBA.

And the thing is… all of those things are what you have to do to… give yourself an opportunity.  I wish everyone that worked hard, got great experience, and was qualified could work in the NBA.  But it’s doing those things that gets your name in the hat, gets your resume read.
