When I speak somewhere and people ask how long it took me to prepare… the answer is somewhere between a couple of hours and a lifetime.  The preparation for anything is an ongoing journey.  And when it comes to the paying of dues in basketball, you never know which thing, which experience, which connection will be the thing that leads to the next opportunity.
