One of the things we tend to forget when we are chasing dreams is… reality.

As much as I was willing to ‘give up’ everything and go for it… when I reflect on my time as an Unpaid Intern, I realize, I likely could not have done that had my unpaid Internship landed me in a city such as New York, LA, Chicago, etc.  I landed softly in Portland with a couple of friends waiting there for me with a couch.  Things worked out.
