Behind the Article: Big Magic & What Certificates and Degrees You Need to Work in the NBA

After I graduated college, I had no idea what I was doing.  I thought I knew but then… I didn’t.

I wanted to work in the NBA, but how?

I got a job as an Admissions Counselor at my University and started saving money and paying off college debt.  I hit a breaking point where my job was miserable and I knew I wanted to work in the NBA.  I googled NBA jobs and the first thing that popped up was an on-line course.

I signed up for it and that course did in fact help me get to the NBA.  I met people through the course who connected me with others which eventually led to an interview and eventually an NBA Internship. 

So why do I speak ‘down’ on these courses?
