5 E-Mail Responses from “3 Current NBA Internship Opportunities You Should Know About”
Getting a Job in the NBA
Here’s a marketing tip… anytime I add a 3 or 5 in front of an article, I multiply readers and engagement by about 250%. It’s fascinating. But we’re here for hoops so let’s carry on.
When an article ‘explodes,’ it leads to new readers (welcome!). Which leads to… the same questions.
So here’s some tips for those who are asking the same questions…
When you are reaching out to someone, read, listen, and engage in their past work.
If you’re reaching out to a Video Coordinator, a Coach, a GM, I’d recommend simply googling them or looking them up on social media to know a bit of their story and find some common ground. Listen to their interviews and ask follow-up questions, not questions they’ve already answered.
Just like if you’re reaching out to an author or writer, look up and read their past works. Then you are not asking them questions they’ve already answered.
And if you’re sending questions to GITG (please continue, we love questions!), but also around 90% have likely been answered.
